Network facilitation in Denmark
How do you ensure a good and safe landing and get a solid footing, network and a social life in “your” new, Danish culture?
The answer is networking. Networking is a good, safe, and educational way to create insight and understanding of Danish culture.
I facilitate networks for global citizens who have moved to Denmark in connection with jobs and/or private lives and are going to stay here for a period of time.

Network facilitation – Soft landing in a new culture
Networking is relevant for you who are looking for a network after having moved to Denmark in connection with your job or personal life.
How to ensure a good landing and get a solid footing, network and a good social life in “your” new, Danish culture?
The answer is network. Networking is a good, safe and educational way to create insight and understanding of Danish culture.
I offer network facilitation for global citizens who have moved to Denmark in connection with jobs and/or private lives and will be living here for a shorter or longer period of time.
Quarterly meetings
In my network facilitation, I put together a network group where you meet with others in the same situation as you. Here you can meet with like minded people who have also moved to Denmark in connection with jobs and/or private life.
The network meets 4 times a year. The meetings will typically last 2 hours and be physical meetings, because it gives the best result to meet in person. If you are prevented from physical attendance, is will often be possible to participate online.
The meetings have different topics, such as:
- ”Settling in … how do you “land” well and safe in your new country of residence”
- General understanding of cultural differences
- The culture in the home country and in Denmark
- Phases of the journey to a new culture
- Business understanding
- Special challenges for spouse / partner and family
- Parents / school
- The successful homecoming …
I organise and facilitate the meetings – including any presenters. Participants are welcome to suggest topics. All meetings and activities related to the network are conducted in English.
Network without language barrier
Although the meetings in the network are in English, I ensure that there are no language barriers. Thank to my long-standing global career, I speak and write Danish, English, German and French.

I have lived and worked abroad for more than 25 years, including many years with my family. During the years abroad, I was HR director in an international company. Therefore, I have both professional and personal experience with network facilitation, and I know how important it is to get a good and solid footing in a new country and culture.
My DNA is the desire – and the ability – to create value for both business and people. My approach is based on flexibility, and all processes and solutions are targeted and adapted to your needs.
